Understory Acres is a family-run farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We focus on the soil and believe that the nutrient density, health, and flavor of our food are the natural result of a thriving ecology. As regenerative farmers, we build topsoil rather than deplete it, encourage bio-diversity rather than mono-culture, and invest in future sustainability rather than take from it.
